Also since the aisle way is a little smaller than most parking lots, there really is only room for 1 car to pass instead of 2 cars.

Parking: The parking spots opposite of each other are a bit smaller than most parking spots so you have to be really careful when you back out of a parking spot. Also you need to be careful that you don't move too much in the hot tub or fill it too much because the water down overflow onto the carpet. 1st off, if you share this room with a group of friends, there would be no privacy if you wanted to use this hot tub. But I think that where the hot tub is located, it would have been better to be placed somewhere else. The brief instructions provided by the hotel seems to miss a few steps so you have to play around with the remote to get it to work the way you want it to) -Hot tub half way up the stairs (I am sure plenty of you would say this should be a positive. The heaters only work with use of the remote and the remote is actually a bit confusing to use. Hard to use digital heater (there are 2 heaters, one upstairs and one downstairs. But when we checked out, another female at the front desk was very nice and helpful to us though). The person whom he spoke to was not very helpful and kind of rude. During our 1st night, my husband had to call the front desk because he was having trouble with the digital heater in our room.

if not, there is not music of tv available in the gym) And here were the worst things about our stay: -Unfriendly front desk staff: upon checking in, the woman who checked me in wasn't too friendly and she didn't tell me of a special pet relief area (although there is grassy areas all over the hotel area, there is pet relief area in the back with an adequately stocked bag dispenser). All of the cardio equipment are also ipod ready so you can listen to your music while you workout. Oh and by the way, there are no utensils, plates, cups, sponge, dishwash soap, etc provided here for you but of course you are provided with towels, hand soap, bath soap, etc though ) -Place allows dogs for a pretty reasonable fee (Not every hotel along the strip or off the strip allow dogs unfortunately) -Plenty of grassy areas for your pet to relief themselves, even better, the grassy areas are very close to your door (some hotels, including Bally's, Rio, The Quad & Planet Hollywood have pet relief areas that is a far walk from your hotel room) -Rates of hotel is pretty affordable -Clean and a descent gym on site (clean towels are available here and also a water dispenser in case you didn't bring a water bottle. The room came with a working microwave, a working mini refrigerator and a working single cup coffee maker. Here is what was the best things about our stay: -Non casino hotel located only 1 mile away from the strip (sometimes it's nice not to have my lungs constantly filled with smoke during my stay) -Room was very nice and spacious, clean and all in working order (we got the crown lost that has a 2nd story. But we actually had a wonderful stay and would most definitely stay here again. After I read the reviews (on trip advisor & ) prior to coming, I was honestly a bit worries because there were so many negative reviews. Stayed here last week with my husband and our 3 dogs ($50 pet fee for entire stay of hotel, no weight limit or limit on the number of pets you bring). At night this is minimized but they start again pretty early. The planes fly almost straight overhead the park on short final or just after take off. Besides that the park is located next to Mc Carran airport. The rooms are also pretty noisy, especially in the morning when the housekeeping walks by your room chatting out loud. I'm only 174cm and i had to duck to be able to take a shower. Especially the shower seems to be made for little people. The rooms are pretty spacious but they are getting a bit out dated. A taxi ride to the Planet Hollywood (nearest hotel on the strip) costs about 6-8 dollars. You can walk to the strip in about 10-15 minutes, in the summer you probably don't want to do this. In it are clubs Body English and The Vanity.

Just across from the park is the Hard Rock Hotel & casino at a 2 minute walk. I was however a bit suprised they charged 7 dollars handling cost for just accepting the package from fedex. I ordered something via the internet and had it delivered to the hotel, the people at the reception were always helpfull with checking if it arrived yet. The resort itself has 3 pools ( only 2 were open due to season) of which one has a hot tub. The Alexis park resort is a nice place to stay at when you want to be fairly close to the strip but don't the constant busy atmosphere from hotels on the strip. We stayed in the Alexis for 2 weeks with about 148 people for work.
